SL86A: The evolution of asymmetric design by Sanlorenzo

Developed in collaboration with Zuccon International Project, which designed both the exterior and interior for the first unit, the SL86A represents a new evolution of the asymmetric concept. This design approach seeks to optimize both internal and external spaces, enhancing functionality and offering innovative living solutions while maintaining a dynamic connection with the surrounding marine environment. All of this is accomplished while preserving the elegance and distinctive style synonymous with Sanlorenzo.

From an exterior design perspective, the real innovation of the yacht lies in the configuration of the stern, where visible stairs are absent. This minimalist approach embodies Sanlorenzo's asymmetric revolution: by concealing the stairs, the layout at the stern becomes more seamless. The introduction of a transparent element further enhances connectivity, allowing a continuous flow between those in the cockpit and people swimming at the rear of the boat, improving usability.

Another key design feature is the reduction of vertical connections: by eliminating the staircase between the cockpit and the flybridge, the space is freed up, allowing the entire Main Deck to be dedicated to guest enjoyment. The result is a large open-plan layout, with a spacious area at the stern connected by a portside passage to a unique forward dining space. This additional area for onboard living sets the SL86A apart from other yachts of similar size. The layout minimizes visual barriers and emphasizes the large windows that connect the yacht to the sea from stern to bow.

Finally, the SL86A offers expanded and more usable exterior spaces, including two large sunbathing areas: one at the bow and another integrated into the deckhouse.
