Sanlorenzo Recognized for the Fourth Consecutive Year Among the "Best Managed Companies" by Deloitte
Once again, Sanlorenzo has been named among the companies awarded the “Best Managed Company Award 2021” a recognition from Deloitte Private given annually to Italian companies (74 companies were awarded, including only 6 listed on the stock exchange) that have excelled in strategy, skills and innovation, corporate culture, governance and performance, internationalization and sustainability. This is Sanlorenzo’s fourth consecutive win, qualifying the company for the "gold" status.
The independent jury, composed of experts from Italy's institutional, academic and business worlds, awarded Sanlorenzo not only for the excellence demonstrated in the evaluation criteria but also for the company’s strong ability to adapt to the context and its response to both the pandemic and economic crises. Among the leading international players, the award confirms the effectiveness of Sanlorenzo’s business model, as well as the company’s ability to anticipate market trends and evolutions: a combination of elements that has led to excellent performance in 2021.
The luxury yachting leader – the only company in the nautical sector and the only one based in Liguria awarded by Deloitte – has recently approved excellent results, considering that the just concluded semester was the “best semester ever.”
During this occasion, Sanlorenzo also updated its 2021 guidance, revising its estimates upwards (double-digit growth in key metrics, with an order portfolio exceeding 1 billion euros by August 31), operational profitability on the rise, a strong product launch plan, and additional investments to increase production capacity in order to support growth.
