Sanlorenzo has remained a leader in the annual Global Order Book, published by Boat International, which tracks the international market for yachts over 24 meters. With 117 projects in 2021, totaling 4,159 meters, Sanlorenzo increased its portfolio by over 1,000 meters compared to 2020. This cements its position as the world’s leading monobrand shipyard, continuing its steady growth trend.
The company, listed on Euronext STAR since 2019, is supported by a record backlog that covers a significant portion of expected revenues for 2022 and 2023. This achievement marks a successful year for Sanlorenzo, which recently secured a contract for a 72-meter 72Steel superyacht, the largest ever built by the shipyard. Additionally, Sanlorenzo announced an exclusive partnership with Siemens Energy to create the world’s first fuel cell-powered 50-meter superyacht, scheduled for delivery in 2024.
Sustainability and innovation remain key values for Sanlorenzo, evident in every new project, including eco-friendly propulsion systems and forward-looking designs like the asymmetric concept seen in the SL90A, SL96A, and SL120A models.
